Now in its 36th year, the Five Valleys Walk is a Stroud institution. The combination of community spirit and a route through the iconic local countryside make this a quintessentially Stroud event.
With routes and activities for all ages and abilities, it really is the perfect family day out! Although the 21-mile route is a tough challenge, you can choose your distance and cover anything from 1.5 miles, up to the full course.
You'll get to enjoy the beautiful hills and valleys enroute and once you're ready to call it a day, our wonderful friends at Stagecoach will be on hand to offer you a FREE bus ride back to your starting point, with the last bus leaving checkpoints at 4:45pm.
Stroud Cricket Club will be hosting our end of walk party again this year, and all walkers are welcome to join us for a well deserved pint and pizza! There will be live music and entertainment until late. Make sure to order your exclusive Five Valleys Walk merchandise when signing up, and our fabulous raffle returns with many prizes to be won!

Once you’ve registered, you’ll receive a welcome email, and we will be in touch closer to the event with everything you need! Don’t forget to set up your fundraising page above!

Fundraising
We estimate 8,000 people a year contract bacterial or viral meningitis in the UK; that's 22 people, every day.
By coming together this September, we're asking every Five Valleys Walker to raise £22 (or more!) or donate £22, so that we can ensure everyone affected by the disease receives the support they need to rebuild their lives, while helping us achieve our goal of defeating meningitis in the UK within a generation.
